Our Story

Five It! started in 2023 as a tiny office trivia game.

Every morning, I would write a set of five questions on my whiteboard. Coworkers would submit their handwritten answers on Post-It notes, playing for bragging rights.

It quickly became the highlight of the day. Arguments over "close enough" answers and "the spirit of the question" went on for hours. Eventually I started keeping score in Excel, added team competitions, and awarded a trophy that traveled around the office to each month's winner.

In 2024, I turned our beloved whiteboard tradition into an email-based game, and in 2026, expanded to the game you see today.
